The Directorate of Technical Education and Training (DTE&T) in Odisha provides education and training through an extensive network of Government Industrial Training Institutes and Government polytechnics throughout the state.

The State Government has planned to introduce Digital Content to the Government ITIs and polytechnics to assist classroom teaching and self-learning according to the latest syllabus. The application covers both theory and practical subjects/trade.

Objectives of Digital Content:

• To enhance students' understanding of the trade by offering theoretical knowledge and virtual workshop experiences.
• To stimulate students' interest in learning by making the process interactive and enjoyable.
• To enrich the student's classroom, laboratory, and workshop experiences through a variety of learning activities and proper training.
• To improve student learning outcomes, both in specific subjects and more broadly, by providing comprehensive training that helps teachers integrate technology into their teaching environments.

Visual Learning Solution (VLS) for Trade Theory: VLS serves as both an effective teaching tool and self-learning resource, boosting Skill Development and Employability by providing a better grasp of Engineering Fundamentals & concepts through visual 3D demonstrations, industry examples, real-life applications, 2D images, and text to ensure comprehensive vocational education for future generations.

Virtual Lab (VLAB) Solution for Trade Practical: VLAB experiments are conducted in remote laboratories accessible online anytime, anywhere. Utilizing 3D models where relevant, the VLAB offers an authentic lab experience.

The VLAB includes:

1. Experiment objectives
2. List of required tools and equipment
3. Experiment procedure
4. Skill information and assessment
